Transkei Cubensis, also known as South African Transkei (SAT) is the first Psilocybe cubensis strain that originated from South Africa. They are quite famous for the “dancing lights” experience from users. The perfect shroom for trippy nights and as a distraction for stress, anxiety, and depression.
Origin:
These mushrooms were first collected in January 2002 in Transkei, in the Wild Coast region of South Africa. They were growing directly on feces under the shade of trees and were identified as medium-sized mushrooms with a gnarly stem. The younger magic mushrooms have bright orange/brown caps that later turn pale white as they age. Once they release their purplish-colored spores, it creates a unique and colorful combination of white, purple, and gold on their caps. A veil is formed, and it stays connected with the cap for a long period of time until it naturally tears on its own, leaving remnants of the veil on the cap and stem- which is common to most Psilocybe cubensis strain.
Potency and Recommended Dose:
The Transkei Cubensis has an especially strong potency. For newbies, 0.5-1.5 grams of dried shrooms will do, and experienced users can do between 1 – 3.5 grams.
Effect:
You will expect a more energetic body and see mystic visuals once digested. Most users love the dancing lights, geometric effects, and even some melting objects they see. For higher doses, you can experience warping images, euphoria, seeing and feeling sounds and colors, and hallucinations even when your eyes are closed.
